High Frequency
High Frequency
-uses electric current to rejuvenate skin
-opens blood vessels to skin and promotes circulation, healing, and bacterial removal
What is High Frequency
High Frequency treatments use oscillating high frequency electrical current to stimulate circulation to skin cells. An glass electrode filled with argon or neon attached to a high frequency machine emits a subtle violet or orange glow. When touched to the face, the electrode causes a tingling sensation on the skin. Unlike micro-current treatments, high frequency works with skin cells instead of muscles.
How is it Used
High frequency is used for a variety of skin conditions. The oscillating frequency dilates blood vessels, promotes lymphatic drainage, and prevents the build up of bacteria and excess oils.
Acne
High frequency has been used extensively to treat acne. Over time, bacteria in your skin can build up resistance to certain acne medications. High frequency treatments promote an anti bacterial environment and make skin more receptive to lotions and other skincare products.
Enlarged Pores
When used regularly, high frequency can be very effective on enlarged pores. It inhibits excess sebum production and penetrates deep into the root of the pores. The rush of oxygen molecules help promote lymphatic drainage to get rid of excess oils. Once sebum and oil production has decreased, the pore can then regain its normal size and shape.
Fine Lines, Wrinkles, and Sagging Skin:
High frequency oscillates to promote circulation of the skins underlying blood vessels. This allows for more nutrients and oxygen to arrive and replenish skin cells to give you a healthy, youthful glow while diminishing wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin.
Puffy Eyes:
Puffy eyes are often caused by an increase in fluid build up around your eyes. High frequency promotes lymphatic drainage which takes fluid from your eyes to brighten and tone skin.
Dark Eye Circles:
Dark circles arise from a variety of causes and medical conditions. However, they do get worse with age. As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and collagen, becoming more saggy and translucent. High frequency promotes the formation of collagen to bring life to darkened eyes.
