Pumpkin Peel

  • utilizes powerful pumpkin enzymes and vitamins

What is a Pumpkin Peel?

A pumpkin peel is similar to all of our other peels in that it removes the top layer of dead skin from the epidermis. This reveals the newly matured skin underneath. However, pumpkin peels are gentler than our other chemical peels. The pumpkin enzymes work similarly to glycolic or aha acid in a chemical peel, but without the drying effects that can occur after these peels. The enzymes and vitamins from the pumpkin play a bigger role than the acids in our deeper peels. Pumpkin peels are not as intensive as glycolic peels, and do not has as great an effect on hyper pigmentation as a deep peel. They are bull of beta carotene and Vitamin A to pack your skin full of nutrients.

How is it used?

Pumpkin peels are a perfect option for anyone with sensitive skin. Instead of using acid, pumpkin peels rely more heavily on enzymes and vitamins to remove the top layer of skin. Pumpkin peels are not as deep as chemical peels and are a great way to rejuvenate your face. What better way to get into the holiday spirit than a pumpkin focused treatment. Pumpkin peels work best for anyone with acne or fine lines. A pumpkin peel will decrease the appearance of fine lines and acne, but will not  diminish them as much as a deeper peel. Pumpkin peels are just what you need if you want a treatment that is more involved than a facial but without the drying effects of an intense chemical peel.
